Context

The brief dated 27 August 2024 defined a clothing or T-shirt packaging design project. Its visual direction was elegant, modern, and attention-grabbing, with DKV orange as a dominant colour that could not be replaced.

Goal

Design a T-shirt package that carries the brand and key message in a presentation that is both contrasting and harmonious.

Process

The process was based on the four-week planned timeline in the brief. The brand and key message were prioritised as text elements, then developed into a packaging system and its mockup applications.

Decisions

Orange, black, and white formed the palette. The design philosophy associates orange with energy and creativity, black with a formal and elegant impression, and white with room for creativity. A wave line was used as a visual element representing dynamism and connection.

Outcome

The project archive includes closed-box, angled-box, and open-box mockups, plus an Instagram-post mockup for DKV merchandise, showing the design in several presentation views.

Reflection

The dominant-colour constraint created a clear focus: orange needed to remain prominent, while black and white organised contrast to maintain the modern, elegant direction.
