A multidisciplinary creative grounded in Visual Communication Design, combining visual craft with AI-assisted workflows.
Ashabi Hastra graduated from the Visual Communication Design program at SMK Negeri 1 Trenggalek in 2025. His practice is expanding from graphic design into video, photography, digital content, and digital product building.
A Visual Communication Design foundation shapes how Ash reads briefs, organizes information hierarchy, and turns ideas into clear visual communication.
Ash currently develops his practice across graphic design, video editing, photography and videography, short-form clipping, social media content, and UI/UX and frontend experiments.
Ash remains the pilot responsible for direction, taste, selection, and the quality bar. AI accelerates research, exploration, repetitive work, and technical execution.
The next chapter is to strengthen UI/UX and frontend skills, then grow toward fullstack development, professional prompt engineering, and useful AI agent systems.

Completed a five-month vocational internship within Public Information and Communication Management, contributing to documented live-camera and videotron production workflows.
Responsibilities
- Supported live-camera production operations during documented internship activities.
- Operated a Sony Alpha A7C as a live camera and vMix within the production workflow.
- Used a Hollyland Cosmo C1 for video transmission and supported videotron production.

Visual Designer — Packaging and Menu Projects
Developed three documented brief-led visual projects: Melava Donut Packaging, DKV Merchandise Packaging, and the Waroeng Djawi menu redesign.
Responsibilities
- Translated each brief's goals, audience, and constraints into a project-specific visual direction.
- Developed color, typography, illustration, ornament, and information-hierarchy decisions from the available source material.
- Prepared design applications across dielines, packaging mockups, Instagram posts, and menu spreads.
